Our client base was formed from a close group that we have worked with over time and referrals from long term, valued industry relationships. We take on new clients where there is a good match, seeking great results and a mutually positive experience. FundsLawyer’s cost structure allows us to spend more time with each client while keeping projects within budget. FundsLawyer represents clients on a project by project basis and as an outsourced fractional time general counsel, where we dedicate a portion of the week to serve in a general counsel role. The more we know about your firm and the more time we spend on the ground, the better we can spot issues and find solutions that fit your organization’s unique circumstances.

We prepare bespoke fund documents that take time and attention, and are not a high volume fund formation practice.  We remain accessible to clients by phone and email both during and outside of business hours and believe that responsiveness is one of our key strengths. Clients often find our type of boutique practice, where you deal with the firm’s principal directly, preferable to working with a larger firm. Fortunately, our clients do not have to sacrifice experience or expertise when doing so.
